With everything you have to do, where are you going to find time to work out? After you make lunch for the kids, before your overtime shift at work, or instead of spending time with your relatives or friends?

None of these options is particularly appealing! There are, however, some great ways to reclaim precious time in your day to work out and keep yourself healthy.

When To Exercise

Some people prefer to exercise when they wake up, or in the morning. This has the advantage of being easily incorporated into a routine – get up, brush your hair, change into workout clothes, and exercise, for instance.

Once you get enough motivation and inspiration to do so, you can even get up early if you want. Proponents of this method claim that it gives you a great boost of energy in the morning to fuel you through the day and keeps you feeling good about yourself.

If the morning light doesn't appeal or you're a late riser, you could choose to exercise in the afternoon instead. Before or after lunch, you may have some spare time, particularly if you work at an office and have an hour for lunch, for instance. A brisk fifteen-minute walk can wake you up, get you ready for the afternoon of work, and neatly fit into your schedule.

Evening is another time you could dedicate to working out. Many of us have an hour before or after supper that we usually dedicate to watching TV or lazing around, but if you replace this hour with an hour spent exercising, you'll feel better about yourself and get into better shape, too.

The Thigh Glider - Time Saver

There is some debate about large blocks of time versus spending short periods exercising. Some say that it's better to get your exercise all done at once, increasing your heart rate for spending lots of consecutive minutes exercising rather than breaking it into smaller, less effective chunks. Others say that this doesn't work, because few people really have an hour or two to spare at some point in their day on a regular basis. Instead, it can be easier to devote what chunks of time you have towards exercise and let these amounts add up.

Another solution is doing exercises that rely on short blocks of time, like exercises on the Thigh Glider. Reviews indicate that the fifteen-minute chunks of time put towards this machine quickly add up and help to tone your thighs quickly and easily.

Exercises that can be done anytime are a great way to work out without people knowing it! For example, you can do exercises at your desk while at work like tightening your stomach muscles or thighs. While standing in a lineup, you can tense your stomach muscles for a few seconds, then relax and repeat to help tone your stomach.

Just Do It!

No matter what time you choose to devote to working out, you have to pick at least a few minutes that work for you and do it regularly in order to stay in shape.
